NEW OpenClaw 3.2 Update is a HUGE Improvement!

OpenClaw 3.2 lands streaming Telegram replies and native PDF analysis
## Streaming on Telegram The headline UX fix in 3.2 is streamed responses to Telegram, ending the "send and pray" 30-second silence. You now watch the agent think token-by-token and can interrupt mid-stream ("stop doing this") instead of waiting for a finished reply. The channel's own stack runs on Discord, so the feature is currently Telegram-only — no Discord streaming is shipping in this release.
## Native PDF ingestion The second big change is native PDF parsing for Google and Anthropic files. You can download a Google Scholar paper as a PDF and have the agent run a full analysis on it directly, skipping the old workflow of pasting text into a markdown file. The team explicitly verified it is not "AI sloth" — the model actually reads the document, not a summary. Practical uses called out: thesis research, training PDFs, and ad-hoc reading (the host used intermittent-fasting books as the example).
## Update via the terminal The creator is reversing a prior recommendation. Previously he told users to ask the bot to update itself ("hey Stark, why don't you update yourself"). In 3.2, run openclaw update from the terminal instead — it catches permission changes, missing packages, and config drift that bot-driven updates silently miss. The doctor command has also been improved to flag missing dependencies.
## ACP enabled by default ACP (Agent Communication Protocol) is now on out of the box, which the team calls "a pivotal under-the-hood fix." It sharpens the gateway between OpenClaw and sub-agents like Claude Code — relevant if you're building workflows on top of claude-code via the ACP gateway.
## Hardware note: Mac Mini for free embeddings Ollama now provides free memory embeddings, which the host flags as the first real reason to consider a Mac Mini setup. He still recommends Zebra hosting at $3/mo over the $3.99 Mac Mini for safety, and has not yet tested the wave of newly released Chinese models.
